The vehicle left the road, hit a pole, rolled over, and came to a stop in the middle of a field.
A 25-year-old man died in a serious traffic accident on PR-180 in Cascavel, in the West of Paraná, this Saturday morning (10). The situation happened at kilometer 370, in the region of the district of Juvinópolis.
According to reports, the Volkswagen Saveiro was traveling on the highway towards Juvinópolis when, after a curve, it left the road, hit a power pole, and overturned, coming to rest in the middle of a soybean field. An expert report should indicate the cause of the accident.
Teams reported that the driver was ejected from the pickup truck. A SAMU (emergency medical service) team was mobilized, but could only confirm the death of the young man, identified as André Luiz de Oliveira, 25 years old. The accident site was isolated due to fallen power lines. Copel (electricity company) professionals are on site to disconnect the power supply and replace the structure.
The incident is being handled by a team from the PRE (State Highway Police). A team from the Scientific Police has been mobilized to the scene.
