Hundreds of people were stranded in Bandeirantes, this Sunday morning (5), after a dam overflowed and water invaded numerous houses in the municipality of Bandeirantes, Paraná.
The Fire Department, the Civil Defense and the City Hall work to help the families that were affected. According to the teams, in some parts of the city, the water even covered trees. Cars were overturned by the force of the water.
With the large amount of rain recorded in recent days, the dam overflowed and raised the level of the Ribeirão das Antas River, which overflowed and invaded the houses. The most affected regions are Bairro Invernada, Vitória, Jardim União, Vila Bela Vista and Vila São Pedro.
No record of injured people.
