Late Saturday morning (1st), a 9-axle box truck overturned on PR-436, at the well-known "Curva do Tombo", in Bandeirantes (PR). The vehicle, loaded with wood for custom furniture, was heading towards Andirá when the driver lost control, resulting in the overturn and spread of the load across the road.
The driver suffered a broken arm and was rescued by the Fire Department, being taken to the Bandeirantes Emergency Room. She was alone at the time of the accident.
Civil Defense, Military Police and the EPR concessionaire were on site to control traffic, which was slow but continued to flow in both directions.
