Collision between vehicles on the road to Congonhas leaves woman and child injured.

At around 10:30 am this Sunday (13) , a rear-end collision between two vehicles was recorded on the municipal road that connects BR-369 to the district of Congonhas , mobilizing teams from the Fire Department to attend to the incident.

According to Corporal Elton , who was in charge of the rescue, the accident involved two Corsa model vehicles (a sedan and a hatchback) traveling in the same direction, from the district towards the city of Cornélio Procópio . Both were occupied: in the first vehicle, only the driver; and in the second, a couple and a 9-year-old child .

"When we arrived, thankfully there were no victims trapped in the wreckage, but a woman had facial injuries caused by shards of glass , and the child complained of leg pain and a slight nosebleed ," the firefighter detailed.

The woman and her son were taken to the emergency room at Santa Casa hospital , where they underwent medical evaluation. The driver of the second vehicle had minor cuts to his face but refused transport , as did the driver of the car that was hit.
