The Labor Court announced this Tuesday (24) that Lar Cooperativa Agroindustrial in Medianeira (PR) was ordered to pay R$500,000 in compensation for collective moral damages after carrying out electoral harassment in 2022, during the presidential race.
According to the 1st Panel of the Regional Labor Court of the 9th Region, the cooperative promoted acts with the aim of influencing and coercing workers to vote for a certain candidate, and threatened the maintenance of jobs if the other politician won. The director used internal media, such as radio, to exalt the politician. The compensation amount will be directed to the Worker Support Fund (FAT).
