With shows, blocks and an electric trio, the city of Cornélio Procópio is organizing a five-day program for the 2023 Carnival.
Between February 17th and 21st, the population will be able to see concerts by singers such as Carla Cristina and Carla Visi and the band O Bahia, which will lead the electric trio. The party will be held along Avenida XV de Novembro, the city's main thoroughfare.
Rafael Haddad, municipal secretary of Culture for Cornélio Procópio, says that the party is free and open to the entire population. According to him, the city's street carnival is not new, but this year it will have a difference: "it will be the first time that we will bring nationally renowned attractions". The expectation of the municipality is to receive more than 100 thousand people during the five days of festivities.
“We will have reinforced policing throughout the event, with vehicles at every corner of the route, security cameras and teams from the Health Department with ambulances”, he highlights.
