Deputy Luiz Claudio Romanelli (PSD) presented, this Monday (11) at the Legislative Assembly of Paraná, a bill that grants Public Utility title to the NGO SOS Criança e Jovens, from São Jerônimo da Serra. The entity, founded in June 2018, has been recognized as a municipal public utility since 2019 by municipal law 015/2019.
“It is an entity created to protect children and adolescents who are victims of violence, mistreatment and any type of abuse. An important work carried out by volunteers, who promote actions to protect health, family, childhood, youth and old age, in defense of human rights, the conquest of housing and professional training for needy families”, justifies the deputy .
The NGO SOS Child and Adolescent also works to combat hunger, poverty and abandonment. “Given the relevance of the services provided in favor of the community of São Jerônimo da Serra, especially to vulnerable children, this recognition by the Legislative Assembly is important, which fights to promote and guarantee rights and help to improve people’s lives ”, said Romanelli.
