Mrs. Odete da Silva Cruz, aged 66, died this Monday (5/12), at the São Lucas hospital, in Lucas do Rio Verde (334 km from Cuiabá), after being run over by her 30-year-old son-in-law. The accident happened last Sunday (4/12), when the drunk guy decided to drive a truck and hit the woman. After the tragedy, he fled the place without providing help.
The Military Police were the first to arrive at the scene, around 5 pm. In conversation with the victim's daughter, police officers were informed that the family had hired a moving truck and that, during the removal of belongings, the man would have decided to change the position of the vehicle.
