The PMPR (Military Police of Paraná) arrested, this Friday morning (17), a 42-year-old man carrying more than 90 kilos of marijuana. The occurrence was recorded on PR-323, in Sertaneja.
Around 5:50 am, the police approached a vehicle with São Paulo plates, which was traveling on the highway. When they asked the driver to show his documents, they noticed that the man became nervous and restless.
With that, the PM requested the opening of the trunk of the car. At that time, the driver stated that he was transporting drugs.
In the trunk, the police found almost 88 kilos of marijuana and three kilos of hydroponic marijuana, a drug grown in homemade laboratories, such as houses and apartments.
The driver was arrested, as was the vehicle. Both were taken to the Cornelius Procópio Police Station.
