A 29-year-old man is suspected of beating his girlfriend to death inside the house's bathroom. The case was registered at dawn this Thursday (2), in the Federal District.
The suspect identified as Guilherme Nascimento Pereira is on the run and has a history of non-compliance with a protective measure against the victim. After committing the crime, Guilherme would have called his father confessing the crime.
According to the column Na Mira, from the Metrópoles portal, the victim is 25-year-old Leticia Barbosa. The suspect's father was at the scene when officers arrived. Letícia and Guilherme had a five-year relationship. The couple broke up in June 2022.
In September 2022, Leticia denounced her ex-boyfriend for threat and bodily harm. At the time, the young woman reported that Guilherme was violent and would have already attacked her on other occasions.
The Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) reported that it is investigating the case, which is initially being treated as a femicide.
