A 63-year-old man was preventively arrested on Monday (18), suspected of sexually abusing a child for approximately two years. The crimes took place in Assaí, in the north of the state, but the person being investigated was arrested in Fazenda Rio Grande, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba (RMC).
According to investigations, the child was abused at least five times between the ages of 7 and 9. The elderly man was sent to the penitentiary system where he must answer for the crime of rape of a vulnerable person.
The police ask for the public's collaboration with information to help in cases of violence against children and adolescents. Complaints can be made anonymously, by calling 197, PCPR or 181, Hotline.
