Died early this Tuesday (20) Luan Augusto, aged 16. The teenager was shot in the head during the attack on the state school Professor Helena Kolody, in Cambé (Metropolitan Region of Londrina), on Monday morning (19).
The teenager, who studied at the institution, was hospitalized at the HU (University Hospital) in Londrina.
During Monday afternoon an intracranial catheter had been implanted to monitor the pressure in the boy's brain. As the situation was very serious, it was not possible to perform surgery, informed the hospital. The family authorized the donation of the corneas.
Luan was dating Karoline Alves, 17, who died instantly. The young woman's wake takes place at the Santo Antônio parish hall, in the center of Cambé. The burial is scheduled for 5 pm. There is still no information about time and place of Luan's wake and burial.
