A female driver, approximately 32 years old, escaped without serious injuries after a rollover accident that occurred early Sunday morning on BR-369 , in Cornélio Procópio .
The accident happened around 3:30 am , within the city limits, on a stretch located between the old Soloviguaçu coffee company and the Panorama cloverleaf.
According to information from paramedic Luiz Gustavo, from SAMU (Mobile Emergency Care Service), the team was called to attend to the incident and, upon arriving at the scene, found the victim sitting on the side of the highway, conscious, oriented, and without apparent injuries.
The vehicle, however, ended up completely off the road, overturned with its wheels facing upwards, about 100 to 150 meters inside a wooded area , highlighting the violence of the accident.
Despite the extensive damage observed in the vehicle, the driver did not present any visible abrasions or injuries. Even so, due to the severity of the rollover, she was taken to the Santa Casa de Cornélio Procópio hospital for medical evaluation and further tests.
The driver told rescuers that she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident and that she managed to get out of the vehicle on her own after it rolled over. She then walked to the side of the road, where she asked for help and waited for the rescue team to arrive.
The case drew attention due to the intensity of the impact and the fact that the driver survived virtually without injury, despite the significant damage to the vehicle. The circumstances that led to the rollover were not reported.
