A woman was arrested on suspicion of stabbing her husband to death at the family home in the north of Londrina, on Sunday (9). The crime took place on Rua dos Mecânicos, at Conjunto Chief Newton, and was witnessed by the couple's four children.
The woman told the Military Police that she stabbed her husband with a knife to defend herself because she was being attacked by her partner. She was arrested red-handed and taken to the Civil Police station.
One of the couple's children, a baby in arms, was injured after falling from a parent's lap during the confusion. He was rescued and taken to the Children's Emergency Room (PAI) with minor injuries.
The father of Douglas Rosa dos Santos, who was 27 years old, said that his son's relationship with his daughter-in-law was troubled, there were several records of fights between the couple.
