A woman had 50% of her body burned after being attacked with boiling water in Santo Amaro, in the Recôncavo Baiano (BA), last Sunday (1/1). According to the Civil Police, the main suspect in the crime is the victim's ex-partner.
According to the police, the crime occurred because the suspect has not yet accepted the end of the relationship. Until Monday (2/1), no one was arrested. The woman was rescued by witnesses and taken to the State General Hospital (HGE) in Salvador (BA). The victim's identity has been preserved.
