CORNELIO PROCOPIO: QUALIFIED THEFT

At 5:45 a.m., the police reported a theft at a residence located in Jardim Bandeirantes. The caller reported that he left this morning and when he returned, an hour later, the theft had already occurred. A Samsung notebook, a 48-inch LG television and a 50-inch Samsung television were stolen.

CORNELIO PROCOPIO: HOMICIDE

At 11:26 p.m., the police were called to Bento Ferraz de Campos Street, in the city center, where locals reported that a fight had broken out and that a man had been stabbed. A plastic bag containing the body of a male was found in the backyard of a residence. After receiving information, the suspect was found under a bed in the same house and approached by the police. The individual informed the police that he had had a disagreement with the victim and that after a fight he had taken his life. The man was arrested and taken to the police station for the necessary procedures.

ANDIRÁ: VEHICLE RECOVERED

At around 10 am, the PM was patrolling Rua Alagoas, where the team spotted a parked motorcycle, which had a theft/robbery alert from 2020. The team found that the chassis number was illegible and the engine number was sanded off. The owner showed up at the scene and reported that he had bought the motorcycle from his brother and his brother from a third party. The motorcycle was taken to the police station and those involved were advised on the appropriate measures.

NEW SANTA BARBARA: FRAUD

At 3:41 p.m., a female person reported that she had received messages on the “WhatsApp” application from an unknown number, which claimed to be her daughter, asking her to transfer the amount of R$4,000 (four thousand reais). The applicant reported that she was unable to make the transfer through different bank branches and that later the alleged daughter requested the amount of R$5,000 (five thousand reais) again and she sent the requested amount again, after which she realized that it was a scam. The victim was advised on the appropriate measures to take.

SAINT ANTHONY OF PARADISE: THREAT

At 4:45 p.m., the police were called to a residence in the central area, where the applicant reported that her husband had broken the furniture in the house and threatened to kill her, and informed the team of her interest in representing her husband. The man was approached and taken away, and the parties were sent for action.

CONGONHINHAS: BODILY INJURY

At 7:45 a.m., the police were called to the rural area. A male reported that he had an argument with his wife over a message on his cell phone and that she started to set fire to two mattresses and that when he held her, she attacked him with a bite. Later, the woman was attacked by her stepson with a brick, causing a back injury. All those involved were taken to legal action and the woman was taken to medical care.
