BANDEIRANTES – AGGRAVATED THEFT

The team went to the address mentioned above where they contacted the complainant, who reported that the last day he was at his workshop was Wednesday (03/06/26), and today when he arrived to work he noticed that someone had entered his workshop through the roof and stolen: 01 15-meter extension cord, 01 10-meter extension cord, 01 5-meter extension cord, and a Dewalt brand screwdriver. Given the facts, the victim was advised on the appropriate procedures.

NOVA FÁTIMA – FRAUD

A 46-year-old victim appeared at the Military Police Detachment reporting that her boyfriend had informed her that an individual had contacted him via WhatsApp, posing as his lawyer and stating that her boyfriend had won a lawsuit and that a number from the Court of Justice of the state of Paraná would contact them. After some time, a number contacted them, and she took over the negotiations with the scammer, who then requested that they send money to their accounts, saying that they would have to withdraw all the money from their accounts to receive the money from the won lawsuit. She made several PIX transfers in the amounts of R$5,600.00, R$4,690.00; R$422.00; R$1,299.00; R$2,129.00 and R$1,064.00 to various accounts. After the transactions, the scammer tried to obtain loans but without success, at which point the victim realized she had fallen for a scam. Given the facts, a police report was filed, the names of the recipients and accounts where the PIX payments were made were cited, and the victim was advised on the appropriate procedures.

CORNELIUS PROCOPIUS – SIMPLE THEFT

The Military Police team was dispatched to respond to a report of a cell phone theft. Upon arrival, the 60-year-old victim reported that she lives in an apartment and that she had purchased a bookcase that day. The owner of the establishment had hired two men to deliver it.
