NEW AMERICA ON THE HILL – FRAUD
A 62-year-old male appeared at the Military Police Detachment reporting that he had been the victim of a scam. He received messages via WhatsApp in which someone impersonating his daughter asked him for a deposit of R$ 5,000.00. He made the deposit and only realized it was a scam after completing the transaction. Given the facts described, the victim was advised on the appropriate procedures.
CORNÉLIO PROCÓPIO – EXECUTION OF ARREST WARRANT
The Military Police team carried out a joint operation to execute search and seizure warrants at four residences in the city of Cornélio Procópio, resulting in the arrest of two males who were then taken to the Public Jail.
ASSAÍ – DRUGS FOR PERSONAL USE
The Military Police team was patrolling near a city hall event when they spotted two men who, upon noticing the patrol car, behaved suspiciously. Based on this, a search was conducted, and a quantity of a substance similar to marijuana was found in the front pocket of one of the men's pants. He was then taken to the police station to have a report filed.
