CORNÉLIO PROCÓPIO: EXECUTION OF ARREST WARRANT
At approximately 2 PM, a police team went to a residence on Rua Arlindo Carvalho Maria in the Florêncio Rebolho neighborhood, where they duly executed an arrest warrant against a male. The man did not resist and, after undergoing a medical examination for bodily injury, was taken to the Cornélio Procópio prison.
CORNÉLIO PROCÓPIO: DRUG TRAFFICKING
Late Tuesday afternoon, Military Police teams intensified patrols in Vila Nova after receiving information that a certain male was allegedly involved in drug trafficking in the area. During the patrol, they witnessed the individual retrieving narcotics, at which point he was apprehended and found to be in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine and a cell phone. Following this, a search of his residence was conducted, where another quantity of crack cocaine, two portions of marijuana, blades with traces of marijuana and crack cocaine, a precision scale, and another cell phone were seized. Furthermore, the suspect's brother was apprehended and caught participating in the imminent delivery of drugs to a third individual. Over 200 reais in cash and two portions of marijuana were found on him. The first male mentioned was arrested, his brother was apprehended as he is a minor, while the third man managed to escape.
