ASSAÍ: TRAFFIC VIOLATION

At 10:35 AM, the police team approached a Honda CG 160 Titan motorcycle, as it was being driven with an exhaust system that did not comply with the regulations established by CONTRAN (National Traffic Council). Upon inspection, it was verified that, in addition to the exhaust, the rear fender was damaged, the left front turn signal was not working, and the motorcycle lacked rear grab handles. Therefore, the vehicle was impounded and the appropriate traffic violation notices were issued.

CORNÉLIO PROCÓPIO: DRUG TRAFFICKING

On Friday evening, the PM ROTAM team, while on patrol, observed a man riding a motorcycle on Demétrio Liaschi Street. Upon noticing the police presence, he abruptly changed his route, a suspicious action that led to the officers stopping him. The man immediately admitted to having drugs in his pocket. A search was then conducted, and a quantity of cocaine weighing 161 grams, a cell phone, and 77 reais in cash were found on him. He was subsequently arrested for drug trafficking and taken to the Civil Police Station.

CORNÉLIO PROCÓPIO: DRUG TRAFFICKING

On Friday night, the Military Police received several calls reporting that a VW Gol vehicle was driving erratically through the city. A police team was dispatched and successfully stopped the vehicle on Rua Francisco Lacerda. They observed that the driver showed signs of alcohol intoxication and found a quantity of marijuana in his vehicle. When asked if he had more drugs at his residence, he admitted that he did. A search of his home yielded 700 grams of marijuana, a quantity of cocaine, four precision scales, a knife with drug residue, packaging materials for drugs, and 12 reais in cash. The driver, who refused to take a breathalyzer test, was taken to the police station for driving under the influence and drug trafficking.
