CORNELIUS PROCOPIUS: FRAUD
A 36-year-old woman appeared at the headquarters of the 1st Company reporting that she was a victim of fraud. The scam was carried out through the "WhatsApp" application, where she received a video call informing her that she had won a prize of R$ 50,000.00 in "Viva Sorte". She was asked to share her screen through the application and then asked to open her banking app to verify the prize amount, which had already been credited. Afterwards, the scammer hung up and blocked her contact. Upon checking her bank balance, the victim found two transfers via Pix (Brazilian instant payment system) for R$ 1,600.00 and R$ 555.65. The perpetrator's contact number is (54) 91914343. She was advised on the appropriate procedures.
BANDEIRANTES: EXECUTION OF A COURT ORDER
The police team received anonymous information that a male had returned to his grandmother's house and that he had an outstanding arrest warrant. Upon arriving at the address mentioned in the report, they found the 18-year-old male and approached him. Nothing illegal was found on him. He was informed of the arrest warrant and taken to the public jail.

The 67-year-old victim contacted the military police reporting that she received a message via WhatsApp from someone posing as a social security employee using the number (17) 99616-7257. During the call, a man stated that if she did not deposit a sum of money for proof of life, her retirement benefits would be cut off. She reports that she transferred R$ 3,500.00. Later, the man asked her to perform a loan simulation, at which point she realized it was a scam. She was advised on the appropriate procedures.
