NOVA SANTA BÁRBARA: DRUGS FOR PERSONAL USE

On Tuesday night, during a routine patrol in Vila Esperança, an area known for drug trafficking complaints, the Military Police approached a vehicle circulating in a location considered suspicious. During the interaction, the driver spontaneously stated that he was a drug user and admitted to possessing small amounts of narcotics acquired in the area. After inspecting the vehicle's interior, the police found three packets containing approximately one gram of a substance similar to cocaine. The man was taken to the police station, where a report was filed for possession of drugs for personal use, and he was subsequently released, as provided by law. During the inspection, an administrative issue with the vehicle was also found, which was resolved on site, allowing its release. The Police emphasize that patrol actions remain intensified in areas with reported complaints, aiming to combat drug trafficking and other crimes.

URAÍ: ALTERATION OF SIGNAL – VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION – MOTOR VEHICLE

On Tuesday night, during a routine patrol, the police team stopped a Yamaha NMax motorcycle after noticing a discrepancy between the displayed license plate and the data registered in the information systems. During the stop, the driver stated that the motorcycle came from an auction and that he had acquired the vehicle for a price below market value. During the inspection, the police officers found that the chassis number showed apparent damage, with signs of possible tampering, as well as evidence of re-stamping on the engine number. Confirmation of the vehicle's identification will depend on specialized technical expertise. Given the situation, the driver was arrested on suspicion of altering the identifying marks of a motor vehicle and was taken, along with the motorcycle, to the Civil Police Station for legal proceedings.
