BANDEIRANTES: ACCIDENT RESPONSE

On Friday, around 11:00 AM, a police team responded to a traffic incident on a city street. At the scene, a truck had collided with a power pole while reversing into a parking maneuver, causing damage to the pole's structure. Upon inspection, it was found that the vehicle had outstanding licensing issues, which were resolved at the time of the stop. It was also identified that the driver did not possess a license compatible with the category required for that type of vehicle. Given the irregularities, the citations stipulated in the Brazilian Traffic Code were issued. The truck was subsequently released to a licensed driver, the legal owner of the vehicle.

CORNÉLIO PROCÓPIO: THREAT – DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

On Friday night, the Military Police responded to a report of domestic violence and threats against a woman at a residential address. At the scene, officers found a man carrying a knife, which he discarded upon noticing the team's arrival. The approach was carried out without resistance, and nothing illegal was found during a personal search. The victim reported that the perpetrator arrived at the residence under the influence of alcohol, damaged furniture, and made threats while she was holding her daughter. Given the situation and the evidence presented, the suspect was placed under arrest, informed of his rights, and handcuffed to ensure the safety of the incident, as required by law. The man was taken for medical treatment and subsequently presented to the Civil Police Station for legal proceedings. The knife used was seized and submitted as evidence.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, acting on information received via COPOM (Integrated Operations Center of the Military Police) that a woman was at the BR 369 overpass who had left her residence on the night of December 26th, leaving a message stating she was going to keep her deceased mother company, the team immediately went to the aforementioned address. Upon arrival, they observed a woman sitting near the overpass railing accompanied by her partner. Upon noticing the officers, the woman fainted, and her partner reported that he had received a call from her saying she was in a high place where vehicles passed by.
