At 1:58 PM, the police team was called to Rua Sete de Setembro, in the central area, where the 31-year-old complainant reported that she was working at her brother-in-law's business and that on that date, the brother of the victim of the homicide that occurred in this city on December 25th came to the location carrying a machete and asking for her brother-in-law, who was identified as being involved in the homicide. She felt threatened by the situation, but did not express interest in filing a criminal complaint against the reported individual. Therefore, the police team advised those involved and registered the police report.
SANTA CECÍLIA DO PAVÃO: FRAUD
At 10:49 AM, a 24-year-old woman went to the police station reporting that she had advertised the sale of a motorcycle on a social network. Later, she and a potential buyer discovered they had been victims of a fraud. According to the report, a third individual presented himself as an intermediary in the negotiation, claiming to already have an interested buyer. The alleged intermediary gave contradictory information to the victims and instructed them both to maintain a false version of their relationship, which they followed without their knowledge of the criminal activity. The buyer, believing in the negotiation, made a transfer via PIX (Brazilian instant payment system) for R$ 3,700.00. After the payment, contact with the intermediary was blocked, and the vehicle was not delivered, confirming the fraud. Given the facts, the victims were advised on legal procedures, a police report was filed, and the case was forwarded to the competent authority. The buyer's bank requested the police report to open an internal investigation. Documents and communication records were attached to the report.
