SANTA CECILIA DO PAVÃO: BODILY INJURY
At 4:43 p.m., the police team was called to Rua José Carneiro da Silva, where a 46-year-old man was arrested for having assaulted a 45-year-old man with an iron bar, who had already been taken to the hospital. The perpetrator, who was showing symptoms of alcohol intoxication, reported that he had been drinking alcohol with the victim when they argued and he assaulted him with the iron bar. As a result, he was taken to the police station, and the victim suffered an injury to his forehead that required stitches. The iron bar was not located.
CORNELIO PROCOPIO: DRUG TRAFFICKING
At 3:28 p.m., while patrolling the vicinity of the access junction to the Congonhas District, on Highway BR-369, the PM team saw the driver of a CITROEN/C3 accelerate and start to overtake other vehicles, as well as crouch down as if he didn't want to be seen. The driver was then stopped and found inside the car two portions of marijuana, one portion of cocaine, two portions of hashish and a certain amount of cash. The 19-year-old driver was accompanied by his father and reported that they had come from the city of Siqueira Campos to Londrina to talk to his lawyer, as the driver is currently being charged with drug trafficking, having been caught red-handed transporting 200 kilograms of marijuana on another occasion. Thus, he was sent to the Police Station due to the illicit substances with which he was approached and then reported that he needed to regurgitate (vomit), as he had swallowed a portion of cocaine, and was thus sent to Santa Casa de Cornélio Procópio for the procedures.
