BANDEIRANTES: TRAFFIC VIOLATION
On Saturday afternoon, the PM ROTAM team was conducting patrols in Vila São Pedro, searching for a motorcycle stolen Friday night in the city, when they spotted a male driving another motorcycle. Upon noticing the police presence, the driver attempted to flee, trying to cross the train tracks, at which point he was apprehended. Upon being stopped, he was identified as a 15-year-old teenager, mentioned in a complaint and information suggesting his involvement in the theft of the aforementioned motorcycle and also the Hilux pickup truck that occurred the previous week. When questioned about the events, the minor admitted to participating in the truck theft, but denied any involvement or authorship in the motorcycle theft. Therefore, the minor was taken into custody, accompanied by his mother, and the motorcycle he was driving at the time of the stop was impounded for the necessary procedures.
BANDEIRANTES: VEHICLE RECOVERED
After carrying out the procedures related to the approach of the teenager in Vila São Pedro, as per the aforementioned incident, the PM ROTAM team resumed their investigations, at which point they received an anonymous tip that the motorcycle stolen on Friday was at the home of a second individual on Rua Seis de Janeiro. Using a landmark, the team located the motorcycle in the yard of the mentioned residence and proceeded with its recovery. Subsequently, the resident of the house was found using a bicycle; he attempted to flee but was apprehended and handcuffed. When questioned about the incident, he claimed that the motorcycle had been stolen by the aforementioned teenager and that if it remained in his possession, as it was found, it would be used to commit a homicide against the perpetrator who recently killed his brother. Therefore, he was taken to the police station for the appropriate procedures.
