The state of Paraná adopted Prohibition, which prohibits the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages in public places, for next Sunday (2), the first round of the 2022 elections.
The announcement of the measure was made this Tuesday (27) by the state secretary of Public Security, Wagner Mesquita.
The determination will be worth from 8 am to 18 pm. According to Mesquita, the procedure aims to avoid disorder on the day of the general elections.
According to electoral law, each state has autonomy to decide on the operation of the rule.
