A pastor was arrested preventively on suspicion of raping four teenagers, between 13 and 16 years old, in Barra Velha, on the North Coast of Santa Catarina. The Civil Police carried out the arrest this Tuesday afternoon (10/18), in the Itajuba neighborhood.
According to police chief Procópio Silveira Neto, responsible for the investigations, the pastor took advantage of the trust placed by the victims' parents in relation to the suspect's religious activity.
With that, the pastor would have committed the crimes of rape of vulnerable and rape by fraud in his own house and also in the visits to the residences of the teenagers' parents, who received him with the objective of religious support.Learn more on the NSC Total portal
