Late Wednesday afternoon, Military Police teams successfully stopped a VW T Cross vehicle at the access junction to the municipality of Santa Mariana. There were four occupants in the car: two men and two women.
According to information relayed to the police team, the occupants were returning from Paraguay, where they had gone to purchase medication, including Tirzepatide, a substance popularly known by one of its brand names, Mounjaro.
During the vehicle search, police officers located 112 vials of medication, which were stored in thermal bottles. In addition, they found perfumes, medicine packaging, cosmetics, beverages, electronics, and other items, indicating smuggling and contraband.
In light of the above, all occupants of the vehicle were placed under arrest and taken to the Federal Police Station in Londrina, where the incident was reported for appropriate legal action.
