Last Saturday (25/06), Military Police officers carried out an operation in the District of Terra Nova, with 19 Military Police officers being employed in the action, including Radio Patrol, ROTAM and Intelligence.
The action aimed to approach people and vehicles circulating in the rural area, especially on motorcycles that traveled irregularly. The police officers collected 14 motorcycles and a firearm, a revolver with five ammunition intact, was seized.
The armed suspect would still have tried to escape the police approach, performing maneuvers with the motorcycle against the military police, requiring the use of a "rubber bullet" to contain him.
After being approached, the element was taken to the 33rd Regional Civil Police Station, where his arrest was recorded in flagrante delicto for the crimes of DISOBEDIENCE, RESISTANCE and ILLEGAL PORT OF A FIREARMS.
