On Saturday morning, a fire destroyed a residence located on Jorge Alves Ferreira Street, in Cornélio Procópio, leaving one fatal victim. The Fire Department was called right at the start of the fire, when the owner of the house reported that his son had set fire to a blanket and locked himself in the room.
