The strong storm that hit Londrina and region in the early hours of this Wednesday (21) caused power lines to break in several places with the shutdown of households in rural and leisure areas located on the border between Londrina, Cambé, Bela Vista do Paraíso and Sertanópolis.
According to Copel, up to 9 am, 51 broken poles were confirmed in two power circuits that supply the region. This number may be higher, as the teams are still in the field carrying out inspections in these two locations, which have difficult access points. A third circuit in the northern region of Cambé would also have suffered damage.
According to Copel, in all, there are approximately 400 homes without electricity in this area, which will require the reconstruction of the affected networks.
According to the Technology and Environmental Monitoring System of Paraná (Simepar), Londrina should register rain until Thursday (22). The minimum temperature will reach 14˚C with wind gusts of up to 38 km/h.
On Friday (23), the weather will be stable, but the temperature should mark 10˚C. Thermometers will drop to 9 ˚C on Saturday (24), with a sunny day.
