On Wednesday afternoon, during routine patrol, the Paraná Military Police stopped a vehicle on a public road after the driver displayed suspicious behavior, accelerating abruptly upon noticing the police car.

The approach occurred after the activation of the flashing lights and sirens. During the personal search, the police found a sum of money on the suspect. A search of the vehicle's interior revealed a bag containing narcotics.

After a preliminary weighing, portions of a substance similar to cocaine and marijuana were found to be in possession. A check of the systems also revealed that the driver did not have a license and that the vehicle had outstanding administrative issues, resulting in the issuance of traffic violation tickets.

According to the police report, the suspect is serving a sentence under a semi-open regime. Given the facts, he was placed under arrest, informed of his constitutional rights, and referred for a routine medical evaluation.

Subsequently, the man was taken to the Civil Police Station, along with the vehicle, the money, and the seized drugs, which were properly sealed and presented for the appropriate legal procedures.
