Julio Casares suffered a major defeat as president of São Paulo . In a vote held at Morumbis this Friday (16), the club's Deliberative Council approved the impeachment of the president, who leaves office immediately, until a new vote takes place among the members, which may define his departure once and for all.
Casares, 64, has recently become the target of investigations, one of which concerns the alleged receipt of R$ 1.5 million in cash deposits into his checking account between January 2023 and May 2025.
