Corinthians announces Vanderlei Luxemburgo as new coach

Vanderlei Luxemburgo is the new coach of Corinthians .

The club announced the signing of the coach on Monday afternoon. Luxa's contract with Timão runs until December, when the term of president Duilio Monteiro Alves also ends.

This will be Luxa's third spell at Timão, where she has a successful history. In 1998, he won the Brazilian Championship and, in the following year, he left the club to coach the Brazilian national team. In 2001, he returned to be São Paulo champion.
