Palmeiras was superior and beat Corinthians 2-1 in this Saturday's classic, at Allianz Parque, for the third round of the Brazilian Championship. The goals were scored by Murilo and Raphael Veiga in the first half. Piquerez (against) did the honor in the final stage.

Palmeiras led the way to victory in the initial stage, with goals in the 15th and 35th minutes, and took a scare, but managed the result in the second half. The own goal by Piquerez, after a corner taken by Róger Guedes, was not enough for a reaction.
