Rafinha is expected to take over as football coordinator at São Paulo. Muricy Ramalho, who previously held the position, has resigned.
The tricolor idol announced the decision this Friday (23). After undergoing surgical procedures, Muricy himself asked to resign from the position. São Paulo plans to bring someone in to replace him, this person would be the link between football and the board. Rafinha was a well-regarded name and will take over.
