The capixaba fan who missed seeing Vasco ended up frustrated on Monday night (1/30), when he saw Volta Redonda win, 2 x 1, at the Kléber Andrade stadium, in Cariacica, at the end of the fifth round of the Carioca Championship. Pedro Raul had the chance to equalize, but he took a penalty for Jefferson's defense.
In four games, Vasco has only one victory, two draws and one defeat. The team occupies only sixth place, with five points, but one game less, since the classic with Botafogo, in the third round, was postponed and will take place on February 16.
Volta Redonda, in turn, has a surprising campaign and took the vice-leadership of the State, with ten points, one behind leader Flamengo, with 11.
