Paraná is one of the 23 federative units, among the 27, with the largest budget deficit and which is expected to close 2024 with its accounts in the red. In a study released by the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Firjan), based on data from the National Treasury Secretariat (STN) and released on Friday (26), it appears among the five worst (in fourth place) , with a negative value estimated at R$3.5 billion.
