A 71-year-old woman died in a car rollover on Sunday afternoon (14) on PR-436 in Ribeirão do Pinhal (Norte Pioneiro).
According to PRE (State Highway Police), the accident occurred around 4:15 pm, at km 62 of the highway. Using data collected at the scene and testimony from the 72-year-old driver, the police found that the Peugeot 207 Passion, license plate for Ribeirão do Pinhal, was traveling on the highway between Abatiá and Ribeirão do Pinhal, on a single track and without rain, when there was a crash followed by rollover.
The driver, who was not licensed, was not injured. He was submitted to the breathalyzer test, with a result of 0.0mg/L. The passenger died at the scene, and the body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) in Jacarezinho.
No further details of the accident were released.
