An accident on the PR-090, in Santa Cecília do Pavão, in the Pioneiro North of Paraná, on the night of that Monday (1/8), between a car and a truck, left two people dead, according to the State Highway Police ( PRE).
Still according to the Corporation, the occurrence was recorded around 19 pm. The vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when the collision occurred. The 62-year-old car driver couldn't resist the injuries and died at the scene; while a female passenger was rescued but died in hospital.
According to PRE, the 36-year-old truck driver was not injured. He underwent a breathalyzer test, and the result was negative for alcohol intake. The Civil Police will investigate the causes of the accident.
