A truck loaded with pigs overturned this Friday morning (19) on PR-090 in Curiúva, at the entrance to the Serra Negra neighborhood. The animals were scattered along the sides of the road.
The driver was heading towards Curiúva when, on a curve, he lost control of the Schoeler truck and overturned. Some animals ended up dying and others are being removed from the site with the help of people and a tractor and transferring the animals into another company truck.
The driver was rescued and taken to the municipal hospital in Curiúva with injuries to his leg.
The State Highway Police (PRE) signaled the road and is now waiting for a tow truck to remove the truck.
