The Labor Court of Ivaiporã, in northern Paraná, ordered the company Concrevali (Concreto Vale do Ivaí) to stop threatening, embarrassing or guiding people who have an employment relationship to vote for a particular candidate in the elections. The company in the construction sector threatened to fire 30% of its employees if former President Lula (PT) emerges victorious in the second round.

"Each time non-compliance with the decision is verified, the company must pay a fine of 20 thousand reais", cites the Public Ministry of Labor (MPT).

The preliminary ruling was published on Monday (10/17) and complied with a public civil action filed by the MPT in Campo Mourão. On the merits of the action, the MPT also requests the payment of compensation for collective moral damages, of 50 thousand reais.
