Last Saturday (17), a six-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool while the family attended a get-together at a farm in the south of Londrina.
The little one was found after falling into the pool and no one saw the moment of the fall, so it is not known for sure how long the child was submerged.
Upon finding him, the family took the boy to the Fire Station, in the south of Londrina, but the child could not resist and had a cardiorespiratory arrest, dying even after resuscitation attempts. The body was veiled and buried on Sunday (18).
Counting on this case, Londrina registered five deaths by drowning, according to the Fire Department.
