The mayor of Jandaia do Sul , Lauro Júnior, was removed by the Juízo da Vara da Fazenda Pública this Tuesday (14) accused of fraud in the bidding process to hire an engineering company in 2021. He and other servers are prohibited from entering in the premises of the city hall for 90 days under penalty of a fine.
According to the Public Prosecutor's Office , in addition to the mayor, the planning and administrative directors, government secretary and project coordinator, had their assets blocked. The value of the blocks reaches R$ 568,482.98.
Justice understands that their permanence in office would make it difficult to determine the facts. According to the MP, the investigated can use the functions to destroy evidence.
