Teachers from the municipal network of Bela Vista do Paraíso will go on strike next Wednesday (22nd), after a decision taken at a meeting on the last 15th. The professionals demand that the mayor of Bela Vista do Paraíso, Fabricio Pastore (DEM), comply with the Law of the National Teaching Level (11.738/2008).
The category has been mobilized since the beginning of 2023. In February, on the 23rd, teachers approved the state of strike, but, according to professionals, in this period, the mayor refused to negotiate and present a solution to the situation.
The requirement is that the municipal administration complies with the law and pays the teaching floor, which in 2023 had a stipulated value of R$ 2,210.18, for 20 hours of work.
The municipality of Bela Vista do Paraíso pays R$ 1,757.95 for the same journey.
