The bill by Deputy Luiz Claudio Romanelli (PSD), which grants state recognition of Public Utility to the NGO SOS Criança e Jovens, from São Jerônimo da Serra, was sanctioned by Governor Ratinho Junior (PSD) on June 1st, after approval by the Legislative Assembly of Paraná.
According to Romanelli, from now on, the institution is better able to raise funds and enter into agreements with public bodies to reinforce its actions. “This title values the relevant services carried out to promote and guarantee rights and improve the lives of those in vulnerable situations”, said the deputy.
The entity was founded in June 2018 and has been recognized as a municipal public utility since 2019. The organization works to combat hunger, poverty, abandonment and carries out actions to protect children and adolescents who are victims of violence, abuse and any type of abuse. abuses.
“An important work carried out by volunteers, who promote actions to protect health, the family, childhood, youth and old age, in defense of human rights, the conquest of housing and professional training for needy families”, justified the deputy in the presentation of the bill.
