The "Pé-de-Meia" program will be two years old in 2026, and since its creation, the number of students out of high school has fallen by 67% in Paraná. While in 2022 the school dropout rate was 4.2%, in 2024 it fell to 1.4%. Furthermore, the school failure rate also decreased by 25% in the same period, and school delay (age-grade distortion) fell by 43% between 2022 and 2025.
