NOVA SANTA BARBARA: FRAUD A 42-year-old woman appeared at the police station reporting that on 08/09/24, at night, she received an alleged call from the bank informing her that a woman named Larissa Alves was committing scams on customers' bank accounts and that on 08/10, the applicant would receive a bank transfer in the name of José Carlos Da Cruz. Based on this information, the person who made the call asked the woman to transfer the available balance in her account to him, so that her balance would not be compromised. The victim therefore made a transfer via Pix in the amount of R$3,499.00 from her account to the requested account. After the transfer was made, the victim was no longer able to contact the alleged bank attendant.
